Hey folks! It’s Ken here. I’m coming to you live from my office / dining room / living room. It may’ve been awhile since we chatted. But I can assure you, we’re thinking about you. We’re praying for you. And we wanted to share with you some of the amazing things that you’re a part of in Wales.

As our long-time friends and supporters know, back at the beginning of 2018 when our family was called by the Lord to sell everything we owned in America and move to Wales, we were given a vision of a Jesus Revolution in the British Isles that would change the landscape of nations.

By the end of 2018, through your prayers and support we found ourselves in a new country, knowing few people, on very limited resources, with a pregnant Jennifer, and with three (now four!) children 5 years and under, we knew God would have to do the heavy lifting because the burden was substantial. Looking back on it now, I can tell you honestly it was terrifying. We literally had to restart our entire lives. It wasn’t easy. In fact, some days it was the pure grace of the Lord and our family’s love for one another that got us through…what the Lord called us to was definitely NOT for the faint hearted.

What made things easier is that we knew we had the love, support and faith of people like you… our friends and families. And we also knew we would be making new friends on this side of the world who are of similar heart and mind, with a burning desire to see a nations’ people set free with the love of Jesus.

But most of all, we knew that when the Lord says that He will make a way, the way has already been made. We just have to take the step of faith.

No matter the cost.

Even when it means sacrificing and letting go of everything you know, even the life you’ve led…you have to let go of everything that has ever given you identity…except the identity given to you by Jesus.

And here we are, a little over a year later.

Because of you we’ve been able to plant The Gathering Place in City Centre, Swansea- a Jesus centered worship, creative workshop and outreach center in Wales’ second largest city, the region that was the cradle of the Welsh Revival of 1904.

We’ve pioneered the return of sustained worship to South Wales, uniting worship leaders from across four countries with monthly worship “burns.” We’ve washed the feet of addicts, the abused, and of prostitutes, restoring their dignity through the love of Jesus Christ. We’ve led people into deeper relationship and encounter with Christ through personal one to one evangelistic ministry and in small groups. We’ve spoken in churches, prayed on mountain tops and worshiped in valleys, and raised disciples who are now planting their own ministries throughout the region.

We minister to the neglected, the hurting, the lost. And we call the Church back to her first Love… Jesus.

And we aren’t done. There are millions of people throughout Wales and the United Kingdom who need a touch of Jesus – people in the demonic grip of poverty, addiction, sex trafficking, abuse, suicide…all things that can be addressed with social programs but can only be solved through the love of God.

The people here need an encounter of the One whom their souls long for! And when that encounter comes…FIRE! The people here long for real encounter. People like our friend Ally, who attended a worship event we held at The Gathering Place and was reintroduced to her amazing Father. With her permission, I want to share with you a letter that she wrote to me after this event:

**”I have no words for what happened in my heart tonight apart from that I feel God’s heartbeat for me again and I am truly alive. It has been a tough few months but all that is FINISHED. I definitely have renewed HOPE. My heart yearns for more of the goodness of heaven to be unleashed in my life and around me. 🔥 Thanks Ken & Jennifer Arrington for stepping out and creating this space for many to come and worship so freely and together . It is powerful! God is sooooo good!”**

With our foundations firmly set in Jesus Christ, a love for seeing His Kingdom released throughout the world, and a passion to see lives transformed and souls redeemed, we know that 2020 is the year of breakthrough for Wales.

We stand on the cusp of one of the greatest moments in world history, where the knowledge of the glory of the Lord is about to be released upon not just churches and houses, but upon entire communities, cities and nations. What your prayer and financial support is stirring here, is about to release a creative wave of Revival the world has never seen.
